Iamdisease and other stuff...

Huh, it feels like forever since I’ve posted anything new here. Summer always takes all the creativity out of me and drags me out of the four walls, which is a good thing I guess. At least that's how I found a new sport hobby after 15 years of skateboarding. I bought myself a racing bike and started pedalling like crazy, discovering new places and best of all, feeling like a new person. 

No wonder I didn’t have any energy left to draw late into the night. But sadly, the summer is almost over and I'm afraid that time I’ll spend behind my working desk is right around the corner. At the moment I'm putting together all the artwork for my band's Iamdisease debut album that should be out next month. This is how the front cover looks like:

Here’s a little something for Me, Myself and I zine that came out a while ago. I wanted to draw myself but somehow it turned out into Henry Rollins. Oh well. You can get your copy via Look Back and Laugh.

Zoran who runs Look Back and Laugh also asked me to make a mixtape for his music zine ATN. Check it out. It has some of my favourite hardcore bands from the late 90's.

And that's pretty much all. I should start drawing a cover for Iamdisease debut album but it's too damn hot in my room. Sometime soon I hope...

A new poster for a hardcore/punk/metal event with art show where I'm gonna exhibit some of my work together with other like minded commrades Zoran Pungerčar, Nejc Korenič, Jure Šajn. The show will happen next weekend (12.5) at Mostovna, Nova Gorica.

Hey folks, it's been a while since my last update. I was totally busy with recording a new album with my band Iamdisease as well as working on a new album artwork for Slovenian heavy rockers Grrizli Madams. That was actually my first proper work for a band I'm not a part of. It was kinda hard to begin as they didn't really tell me much except for the album title 'Sntntn', but once the ideas started to flow I had pretty much open arms to do it my own way, which was really cool. Here's the result.

The album is coming out in a few days via Založba Radio Študent and will be presented live next Thursday, 12.4. at Gala Hala club in Ljubljana. Be there! Also, don't forget to check out their two new songs below. Good stuff. I can't wait to hear the whole album!

Here's a gig poster I’ve made for my girlfriend, who is organizing Des Ark and Sissters show in Ljubljana. Butterflies on the poster are actually just a fragment of a bigger piece I'm hopefully going to finish sometime this year. Right now I'm super busy with an album cover of a band whose name I will keep secret for the time being.

I've just got Iamdisease t-shirts from the pressing plant. There are three different colors available (gray, sand and white) but have in mind that we only made a small amount of them. You can get your own either from me or any other band member. It will cost you 10 eur.
